She has performed at festivals and concert halls all over the UK, Europe and the world, including the Cayman Islands Arts Festival, Texas’ South by Southwest Festival and Rome Guitar Expo.
Whittingham released her debut recording in 2021, and followed it up with single with Decca Classics in 2024 after she signed to the label.
She was named a ‘Rising Star’ by Classic FM in 2022, and made her Classic FM Live debut in 2025.
The guitarist is a passionate music education advocate, hosting masterclasses at music schools around Europe, aiming always to involve more young people from diverse backgrounds in classical music.
“I’ve always felt very passionate about making classical music more accessible,” she once said in an interview. “I believe we have to present it in ways that everybody can relate to, otherwise it quickly becomes something that people could see as elitist or ‘not intended for them.’”
Whittingham is an Augustine Strings artist and is signed to the Decca Classics label.
Did you know… Since she was a teenager, Whittingham has consciously dedicated herself to sharing performances of popular classical guitar works in videos online, and she’s reached millions of viewers in doing so.
